Etna by quad

The quad route includes a circular route of several kilometres and lasts about 2 hours. Depending on availability on the day requested, the tour can be carried out on the north side inside one of the oldest forests in the Etna Country Park, which, in 2002, was crossed by a short but destructive eruption that caused lava flow from relatively low altitudes, damaging the nearby ski resort of Piano Provenzana. Alternatively, you may take a tour through the woods and lava flows of the south side (this will be stipulated at the time of the booking request). The landscape is, in any case, rich in contrasts offered by the alternation between lush forests and still barren lava fields. You will be assisted by a tour leader or, on request, also by a nature guide so as not to miss out on any interesting information about our region’s natural phenomena.
We recommend this tour as a supplement and/or alternative to jeep/trekking tours.
